As the summer travel season kicks off, a new survey shows that a growing number of U.S. travelers planning to take a trip in the next six months will spend more on their vacation than they did last year. That’s good news for travel agents since consumers’ interest in more expensive and elaborate itineraries could lead them to seek the services of travel professionals.
