Mehbooba meets Amit Shah

NEW DELHI, Apr 14: Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today met ally BJP president Amit Shah at his residence here.
Though it was described as a courtesy call, it is understood that the affairs of the State also figured in the meeting.
Party general secretary Ram Madhav was also present in the meeting. This was the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s first meeting with the BJP chief after assuming power.
The meeting took place at 11 am and lasted half an hour. The two leaders of BJP and PDP discussed political and security situation of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the past two days, Ms Mufti had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers including Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley among others.
After the meeting, Mehbooba flew back to Srinagar after three days tour of New Delhi.
